That Free Feeling

A rider on horseback with arms flung wide, the horse coming straight on beneath him, its body and legs running down the page in drips, all in fast black strokes. I painted this in 2014, a free feelin' piece from my Nashville studio.

It's all gesture: a few marks for the rider's arms, and the horse dropping away below.

Condition: Sold as is. After years of traveling with me, this piece has some minor blemishes and bends in the paper. I'd recommend framing it so those marks show rather than hiding them. They're part of the character of a well-loved, well-traveled piece.
