Straight Down Tea Olive

A golfer holding his finish, arms wrapped up over his shoulder at the end of the swing, built from fast drips and pulled strokes of black, with a few tufts of grass at his feet. I painted this in Augusta in 2016, after a day at the Masters.

It's one of the looser, more physical pieces from those years, more about energy than detail.

A little extra: Every piece from The Vault ships with a free small piece of mine, my way of saying thanks.

Condition: Sold as is. After years of traveling with me, this piece has some minor blemishes and bends in the paper. I'd recommend framing it so those marks show rather than hiding them. They're part of the character of a well-loved, well-traveled piece.
