A small group of horses standing close together, drawn in dark, loose strokes. Heads and legs overlap so they read as one family more than separate animals.
The oil pastel is laid on heavily in places and rubbed thin in others, with a short line of ground beneath their hooves.
Signed original. 9x12 in, oil pastel on Bristol board.
