Ancient Leader

A portrait of a face beneath a full feathered headdress, the feathers flaring out in black strokes with streaks of red worked through them. I finger-painted this in 2013. It's one of my early ones, and still one of my favorites.

The face stays quiet while the feathers carry all the energy.

A little extra: Every piece from The Vault ships with a free small piece of mine, my way of saying thanks.

Condition: Sold as is. After years of traveling with me, this piece has some minor blemishes and bends in the paper. I'd recommend framing it so those marks show rather than hiding them. They're part of the character of a well-loved, well-traveled piece.
