“A good listener”

A face with eyes closed, drawn in soft, smudged black oil pastel. The features are only a few firm marks inside a cloud of rubbed tone.

It's a quiet, inward piece. The Bristol surface lets the pastel blur at the edges while the brow and mouth stay sharp.

Signed original. 9x12 in, oil pastel on Bristol.
